WhiskerKitty.com – The Texas Catfishing Resource
WhiskerKitty.com is the first website I ever built and it definitely shows!
I started WhiskerKitty.com in 2001 to form a place for Texas Catfishing Anglers to meet and exchange information, catfishing tips and fishing reports.
Having never built a website I started with the school of hard knocks and just figured it out along the way. Every single page I ever designed on that site is still online and in it’s original form. Much of the information on the archives is outdated but many of these old archived pages are some of the most popular catfishing pages on the internet.
In 2006 after having some major health problems I stopped updating WhiskerKitty.com and just left it in it’s place on the internet.
It was such a mess and was sterotyped as being “just for Texans” due to it’s name that when I decided to launch my blog I launched it under the new name of LearnToCatchCatfish.com
I am in now in the process of rebuilding WhiskerKitty.com The Texas Catfishing Resource and will be adding some new features. All of the old archives pages will remain intact and unchanged but I will be giving the front page and the “main” pages a facelift to make it easier to maintain and navigate. I will be adding some new features and are going to be adding content again but the content will be specific to Texas catfishing and catching catfish in Texas (like fishing guide reports, etc). All general catfishing information, tips and tricks and other information on catfish fishing that is not specific to Texas will be posted on LearnToCatchCatfish.com
I have a number of ideas for the changes that will be implemented and am not sure of the timeline yet, so make sure you stay tuned to ChadFerguson.com or WhiskerKitty.com so you will now when the new Texas Catfishing Resource is launched.
