How To Make The Best Catfish Jugs For Jug Fishing
A number of years ago I designed a catfish jug called made from white closed cell polyethylene foam. At the time, these were the first and only catfish jugs made with this design and material. In addition to manufacturing and selling Redneck’s Catfish Bait Soap for jug fishing I have also sold tens of thousands of catfish jugs over the years under the name of Redneck’s Juglines.
I began using these catfish jugs on guided catfishing trips long before I ever sold them and spent a lot of time tweaking the design and learning what really made them work well making modifications here and there until I had the very best catfish jugline design.
Over the years, many people have attempted to copy my original designs and have failed and there are several free plans on the internet that attempt to tell people how to make what are now commonly referred to as flagging jugs or fishing noodles by many. These “copycat” plans miss the mark and have a lot of really bad information in them, bad designs and instruct people to use overpriced materials that will not only cost you more but will also not last as long.
Over the years I have been getting multiple emails each week (or sometimes even each day) from people who have are trying to learn how to make their own catfish jugs or trying to copy my designs and they want help because the copycat designs online just don’t cut it.
